G & J has tried many ways to advertise to our residential market and to date the most successful has been a coupon ad run sporadically in the St Cloud Times, supported by additional advertising running continuously. Shawna and the staff at the times has been very knowledgeable and helpful in taking our message and ideas, and turning them into effective marketing. Especially appreciated is the diligence in keeping us informed of what is going on with our campaign, suggesting additional opportunities, and not letting things fall through the cracks, since time is often at a premium.

I think every good marketing plan needs to include both internet and print ads. Based on the # of homes I sell that are direct leads form print, I could not afford not to use Homefinder and the St Cloud Times as marketing resources.

I just want to share our deep appreciation for the St. Cloud Times. We opened our business in 2005 in Waite Park, MN. The first few years were a struggle to get things going. I kept doing radio advertising but continued to have mediocre results. I contacted the St. Cloud Times just to run one ad to see if I got any calls. I was skeptical. Needless to say, we ran our first ad in the St. Cloud Times with a special offer and guess what? The phones were ringing!! I ran a few more ads and before I knew it, I had tripled my business in a month. From 2007 to 2008, our sales increased 198%. It is definitely important to have a strong media mix.
